Adding a MAC address

1. Open web browser to infoblox.ucdavis.edu.
2. Click the "Launch Grid Manager" button.



3. Depending on your computer's settings, you may have to click "Run" when you open InfoBlox.



4. Log in to the Grid Manager with your UC Davis Computing Account.



5. In the Grid Manager page that appears after you log in, click the "DHCP and IPAM" button.



6. In the "Net..." (Network) tab, expand the "Filters" tab, then expand the "MAC Address Filters" tab.




7. Right-click the filter that you want to add the MAC address to and select "Add MAC Address...".




8. In the "MAC Address Properties" window that appears, enter the MAC address that you wish to add. Please make sure to include the colons in the MAC address. Enter other optional data such as username or contact information if desired.



9. Close the "*Add MAC Address (1)" tab.




10. Click "Yes" to save the new MAC address.



11. If you are finished, select "Logout" in the File menu.
