This is an example of how to set up a public pool.

Public meaning any client that has registered their Hardware Ethernet Address with Campus

*The view tab allows the Network Administrator to add users access to their pool.

New Static Host

Static meaning the client with the specified Hardware Ethernet address will always get the specified ip address from the DHCP server.

  1. Type in Host Name (IP address).
  2. Type in Lease Time (86400).
  3. Leave Domain Name blank.

  5. MAC Type is Ethernet.
*Leave Custom and Aliases Tabs blank.
